Soda Pop Beanie Kits
Choose from a palette of 24 sumptuous colors to create your Soda Pop Beanie, a pattern (sold separately on Ravelry) by Sari Nordlund, OR one of the 9 curated hat kits I’ve curated that also come with a matching pom.
The pattern calls for one fingering weight yarn with a carry along lace weight. This kit includes one skein of the Brigitte Fingering (MCN High Twist Sock 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon 2ply yarn; 400 yds/100g), along with one skein of the Bette Alpaca Base (100 Suri Alpaca, 1Ply yarn, 437 yds/100g).
**PLEASE NOTE: There are 2 skeins total that come with the kit, although 3 skeins are pictured.
Here are Sari’s notes about the pattern:
The Soda Pop Beanie is a playful ribbed hat with a classic look and plenty of versatility. It was originally designed for my son, who requested a yellow beanie after seeing Abby’s beanie in the K-pop Demon Hunters—a reminder that even simple knits can become special favorites. Worked in 2x2 ribbing, it has a timeless texture that’s both stretchy and comfortable to wear.
The beanie is knitted top down, starting from the crown, which makes it easy to adjust the length as you go. You can choose a double-fold brim for a classic look, a triple-fold brim for extra warmth, or roll the brim high for a casual, street-style finish.
